In Memoriam: Laurie Halloran, BSN, MS, Visionary Leader, Passes Away

Newton, MA – The family of Laurie Halloran, along with her colleagues at Halloran Consulting Group, sadly announced the peaceful passing of Laurie on February 29.

Beloved Mother of Three Sons, Wife, Daughter, Aunt, Friend, and Mentor

Laurie Halloran was a revered and beloved mentor and friend to hundreds of leaders across the life sciences industry. As founder of Halloran Consulting Group, Laurie spent her entire career dedicated to sharing best practices and know-how in life sciences to deliver safe and effective products to patients. She started her career as a pediatric ICU nurse and in 1998 was inspired to start a company that helps move new therapies through FDA processes to get them into the hands of patients desperately in need. Since its humble beginnings, Halloran has grown into a thriving consultancy of like-minded experts dedicated to improving human health.

In conjunction with the 25th anniversary of Halloran Consulting Group, Laurie officially stepped into her role as Founder to focus on her life’s passions: family, mentoring, and travel. For more than a decade she mentored and guided a select group of leaders and handed the reigns over to this team so they could advance the company to the next phase of strategic corporate maturity to serve the life science community.

“We are heartbroken with the news of Laurie’s passing. We know that the best way to move forward as a company and community is to be the torch bearers of her dream,” stated Tania Zieja, President, Halloran Consulting Group. “Our leadership team is invested in growing her legacy in honor of her vision and example.”

In February 2023, Laurie joined 20 of her biotech leaders to summit Mount Kilimanjaro raising $1 million to fuel scientific discovery for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.
