April Purcell

April Purcell has more than ten years of experience in project management and clinical operations within the drug discovery industry. She has provided support from pre-IND through Phase IV clinical programs. April has expertise in managing all aspects of global clinical trials, including protocol development, selecting, and providing oversight of CROs and vendors, budget management, driving product development milestones and timelines, and risk management. April’s therapeutic experience includes CNS, gastroenterology, oncology, hematology, cardiology, and rare diseases.

April was the General Manager of a multi-therapeutic site management organization offering operational, regulatory, and centralized research services for industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated Phase I-III clinical trials. In this role, she was responsible for clinical trial operations, executive oversight, strategic planning and leadership, and daily activities within clinical projects. April has held various other clinical operations positions, including Clinical Research Director, Clinical Research Associate, and Clinical Research Coordinator.
