Halloran Wins the Life Science Cares Transformative Partnership Award

BOSTON, MA, [JUNE 1, 2023] – Halloran Consulting Group (Halloran) announces they are the winner of the Transformative Partnership Award granted by Life Sciences Cares. Halloran accepted the award during Life Science Care’s inaugural Impact Reception and Awards ceremony, which honors life science companies and individuals who exemplify Life Science Care’s efforts to give back to the community. Companies nominated for the award include Collegium Pharmaceuticals, Flagship Pioneering, and Kiniksa.

The Transformative Partnership Award recognizes corporate philanthropy and volunteer engagement programs resulting from a consistent and dynamic partnership with Life Science Cares and community organizations. All nominees have gone above and beyond to build a culture of giving back to communities in need.

Katie McCarthy stated, “It is an honor for Halloran to be recognized by Life Science Cares. Our team at Halloran is incredibly proud to be part of the collective efforts and is humbled to work alongside Life Science Cares’ nonprofit partners and other corporate partners. During the ceremony, Life Science Cares acknowledged, “Giving back comes through as a recurring calendar appointment for Halloran’s team in both Boston and San Diego. Fueled by the commitment from Laurie Halloran, CEO, and Chief Innovation Officer, Katie McCarthy, activities have included a hygiene products drive, bagged lunch making, laptop and book donations, care package building, cooking dinner for neighbors who experience homelessness, and the collection of 100+ toys for their Holiday Helpers effort. Halloran emphasizes the importance of collective effort and has found different ways for their team to engage based on their preferences—giving time, sharing their talents, or donating dollars or necessities. In 2023, they aim to offer opportunities for their remote workers to get involved and make differences together as well as in their own communities!”

While corporate social responsibility is ingrained in the culture at Halloran, there wasn’t a formal community engagement structure in place until Halloran joined as a corporate partner in 2019, enabling Halloran employees to give back through various volunteer opportunities.

The partnership with Life Science Cares provides collective efforts to enact positive social change by building deep and meaningful relationships with nonprofit partners within our communities.
