Consultant, Project Manager

Boston - Remote within U.S. Option Available

A Project Manager will bring exceptional interpersonal communication skills, a flexible attitude, and a proven record in project management and continuous improvement in the life sciences industry. Typical experience is 6-10 years (or more) industry experience with extensive experience managing multiple projects and/or programs.  

Job Responsibilities
  • Act as a project lead (i.e., establishing timelines, milestones, and resource requirements) for a variety of client engagements focused in the areas of project management, clinical, and/or medical affairs
  • Conduct organizational and/or process gap analyses, SOP writing, and other activities focused on transformational initiatives to drive standardization and increase efficiency
  • Act as an expert involving continuous improvement, change management, and/or compliance readiness deliverables 
  • Independently manage clinical trial operations activities for one or more clinical trials from clinical study start-up through close-out across a multitude of therapeutic areas
  • Participate in and/or lead meetings effectively to facilitate decisions according to good meeting management practices
  • Focus on high-quality deliverables that meet project objectives; use of logical and efficient processes to achieve results; and engendering the client’s trust as a key advisor on the project 
  • Suggest innovative approaches and methodologies to meet client objectives with project delivery
  • Identify expansion or new opportunities within existing client engagements by leveraging previous experiences and insights to identify these new opportunities
Education and Experience Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a life science field is preferred
  • 6-10 years of experience in clinical/medical affairs setting in life sciences operations experience in medical device and pharma
  • Project management, process improvement/optimization experience 
  • Understanding and application of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • Lean Six Sigma or Lean Business Process is a plus
