Consultant II – Clinical Solutions and Systems Manager

Boston (Remote Option Available)


Halloran is looking for a motivated systems analyst to assist in the assessment and documentation of customer solutions as well as assisting in the documentation related processes. The associate needs to be a self-motivated and energetic individual who is able to meet the challenges of a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Partnering with internal consulting teams, vendors and customers to assess business requirements and system configuration needs
  • Assisting in the documentation of requirements and functional specifications for projects and configuration changes to meet new requirements
  • Assessing the impact of proposed changes on existing configuration and documentation
  • Assisting in solution administration tasks to setup and manage systems to support clinical research (gap analysis and system implementation and training) 
  • Authoring and facilitating review of procedures, training documentation and other materials related to how solutions will be used in clinical research
  • Creating, adjusting and executing test scripts
  • Participating in training and support calls to review configuration and assist in adoption
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or related clinical research discipline
  • Project management certifications are a plus (PMP, Six Sigma) 
  • 6-10 years of experience in a business analyst, clinical trial management or data management
  • Familiarity with basics of project and budget management
  • Knowledge of CTMS, eTMF, EDC, Clinical trial management systems and the data that is contained within them
  • Familiarity with working/reviewing aggregate data
  • Comfortable with technical concepts and systems solutions 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
  • Familiarity with Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and regulatory compliance is a definite plus
  • Experience in working in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device development environment is desired
