Halloran is looking for a Senior Consultant, Project Manager to join its Organizational Solutions practice area. In this role, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional project teams through complex engagements. A Project Manager will bring exceptional interpersonal communication skills, a flexible approach, a positive attitude, and a proven track record in project management; successfully driving the delivery of project-specific outputs through the internal and external stakeholders.


Role Responsibilities:
  • Act as a project lead (i.e., manage and drove the optimization of project resources, schedules, and budget throughout the full project life cycle) for a variety of client engagements that may span organizational change management, and quality initiatives;
  • Provide input and participation in defining the scope for complex projects;
  • Manage a suite of project-related initiatives throughout the life cycle of the project and ensure on-time and quality delivery;
  • Set and continually manage project and program expectations while appropriately delegating tasks and responsibilities while managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders;
  • Manage all aspects of project teams and execution to ensure the overall program is aligned to and supports the achievement of project objectives;
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities; regularly analyze and report project status including budget performance, status of deliverables to the overall project plan, risks and mitigations, and scope changes;
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and minute project team meetings;
  • Work creatively and analytically to problem-solve, demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence;
  • Build strong client relationships via consistent and clear communication aligned to project objectives; building credibility and consensus through proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and willingness to present process flows, project dashboards & other PM tools / outputs
  • Knowledge of and willingness to create accountability matrices (RACI) and communication plans


Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a life science field is preferred; MBA a plus
  • 10-12 years (or more) industry experience (biotech, pharma or medical devices preferred) with a minimum of 5 years Project Management experience managing multiple projects and/or programs 
  • Expert level use of Project Management tools (e.g., Project, Excel, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint)
  • Prior consulting experience a plus, but not required
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma or Lean Business Process is a plus
