Halloran is looking for a Senior Consultant, Clinical Operations to join its Clinical Operations and Development practice area. In this role, you will utilizes your clinical operations experience to lead trials across a variety of clients, therapeutic areas, and modalities. You may have oversight of study managers across multiple studies, incorporating alternative study plans to lead a team to develop optimal study design, and potentially manage Halloran employees.

Role Responsibilities
  • Develop accelerated yet feasible operational strategies to guide biotech and pharma companies thoughtfully through development 
  • Act as a clinical subject matter expert, clinical operations leader, or project lead for multiple biotech and pharma companies, bringing real-world experience and an ability to roll up your sleeves and get the work done
  • Lead and/or contribute to development of proposals and scope of work documents and engagement with potential clients for new work as well as scope expansion for existing clients
  • Sets and manages client expectations
  • Oversight of study managers across multiple studies
  • Incorporate alternative study plans/scenarios to lead team to develop optimal study design
  • Develops novel methodologies to carry out project objectives; establishes timelines, quality objectives and resource objectives
  • Manages projects according to the plan; proactively identify, align with client/project team, and implement risk mitigation and acceleration strategies
  • Leads client engagements and matrix supervision/mentoring of less experienced consultants and project team members
  • Identifies and proactively promotes appropriate scope expansion opportunities with clients
  • Work efficiently and collaboratively with sponsor executives, sponsor development team members, and internal Halloran team members, and third-party consultants and vendors/CROs
  • Opportunity for line management of internal Halloran resources
  • Utilizes consulting network to identify new clients, prospects and business opportunities
  • Demonstrates expanded leadership qualities (within Halloran and client) and independence managing client deliverables
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline and a minimum of 10 to 15 years of related experience, including 8 to 12 years of trial management experience.
  • The ideal candidate has 1 to 5 years of line management experience in Clinical Operations.
  • Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
