Halloran is looking for a Consultant, Project Manager to join our Development team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced life science consultant to help grow, develop and build out a team of junior consultants, while also supporting Development initiatives, projects, and client engagements. In this role, you will: 

Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide line management of entry-to mid-level consultants, with a focus on quality, delivery, and productivity, which will result in high client satisfaction and strong company performance
  • Independently direct and manage consultants, identify opportunities for growth and development of consultants and ensure that individual development is aligned and in place to meet client, organizational and consultant gaps and needs 
  • Attract, retain, and maximize the utilization of talent 
  • Work with Management and Human Resources to ensure appropriate training, growth opportunities, and resources are in place and aligned with individual and business objectives 
  • Direct, manage, and mentor an assigned team of consultants
  • Actively provide guidance and coaching around consulting and technical skills
  • Work with individual staff to identify any consulting skill gaps and provide coaching on resolution of gaps and growth areas, and identify project specific mentoring opportunities with senior staff that align with development opportunities for direct reports
  • Provide mentorship and consultation to your team on consulting skills, roles, and deliverables as needed
  • Create individual development plans with each staff member
  • Ensure successful resourcing of entry-to-mid-level consultants for client projects and balance team development with business needs
  • Monitor team utilization to help identify opportunities for optimization
  • Collaborate with consulting team members and management to identify resourcing solutions and project and/or individual needs in order to ensure successful and high quality client projects. 
  • Provide consulting support to clients inregulatory, quality systems, and re-engineering/project management as assigned
  • Provide consulting support to clients with a target utilization of 50% 
  • Estimated travel for this role is no more than 25%
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • B.S. in life science or related field and 8-15 years of experience in biotech, pharma, medical device, and/or other life science development organizations
  • Proven history of successful management, growth, and development of entry to mid-level staff
  • A strong consultative, client service, and relationship building skillset is required
  • Proficient in the MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Business Analytics & Metrics and Implementation thereof is required
