Contract Specialist

Halloran is seeking a Contract Specialist to review, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements.In this role you will be drafting/redlining contracts in a timely fashion that accurately reflects the business transaction while minimizing risk to the organization. The Contracts Specialist will employ their knowledge of business arrangements to analyze agreement structures and recommend the proper contractual agreement(s) to support the business need. The Contracts Specialist will have frequent interactions with internal stakeholders across Management, Business Development, Operations, and Finance. 

Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as the point person to implement and manage a broad range of contracts and agreements, including, but not limited to, confidentiality agreements, master services agreements, statements of work, amendments, independent consulting agreements etc.
  • Draft and review contractual documents required for project delivery.
  • Independently interpret contract terms & conditions and negotiate contractual issues.
  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring contract changes, deliverables, correspondence and risks, and maintaining associated documentation.
  • Enter contract information into departmental systems and databases.
  • Negotiate appropriate terms and conditions, coordinating with the Management team for acceptance of any non-standard agreement terms where necessary.
  • Manage the process of engaging input of internal stakeholders and managing approval processes throughout contracting process.
  • Serve as the primary person responsible for maintaining files and electronic records for all signed agreements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Business Development, HR, Finance, and Operations) to establish sound contract management processes, and resolve contract-related business challenges.
  • Develop and maintain contract templates.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience with contract administration and management processes/procedures
  • 4+ years direct relevant work experience 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of process flow 
  • Experience working in a services organization is a plus
