Associate Principal Consultant, Technology Solutions Team Lead

Halloran is looking for an experienced consultant with an entrepreneurial spirit, a strategic and innovative mind, and the ability to roll up their sleeves and execute projects and workshops efficiency and effectively. The ideal candidate can take on a very visible role, speaking and leading, and independently managing client engagements and quality project deliverables.

Job Responsibilities
  • Acts as a team leader with direct reports and participates in the hiring, career development, and performance management of assigned employees. 
  • Sets direction within the practice, client engagements, and for staff development.
  • Work with a variety of senior staff and stakeholders to plan, develop and deliver consulting services.
  • Be comfortable with managing partner and customer relationships, negotiating to success and budget, maintaining expectations and risk.
  • Have a firm understanding of clinical development and clinical trials (studies, site/patient interaction, regulations).
  • Be well versed in process and performance metrics related to clinical study execution, including site, study, monitoring and other measures.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops to document process and requirements in support of system selection and implementation.
  • Have experience with process documentation, user stories and cases.
  • Develop methodologies to carry out project objectives; establish timelines, quality and resource objectives.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the services delivery team.
  • Manage a team of consultants to support projects. 
  • Identify new business development and networking opportunities.  
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a life science, business or management. Advanced degree is a plus. 
  • 15+ years’ work experience in a life science company (e.g., biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, Contract Research Organization), other area of the healthcare industry, or demonstrates an equivalent.
  • Familiarity with clinical trials processes, end-to-end, starting with planning through completion.
  • Experience in software project management, business analytics and/or IT compliance.
  • Familiarity with solutions used in supporting clinical studies; ECD (Electronic Data Capture), CTMS (Clinical Trials Management Systems), Voice Response, ePRO and Content Management systems.
  • Travel based on client need.
  • Project management or process improvement certifications are a plus (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma).
